23yo; last seen leaving work at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento at 11:30pm, 13 days before vernal equinox. She didn't meet up w/ her boyfriend at ~11:45pm as planned; by 1:45am, her boyfriend, Raymond Willis, went looking for her, and found her car at the parking lot of her apartment at 1740 Markston Rd in Sacramento; kidnapped from the parking lot during a rain storm "a few minutes after 11:30pm." The car door was ajar, the keys were btwn the seats, and buttons ripped off of her raincoat & two strips of ribbed toweling were on the floorboard

April 25/26: found nude, bludgeoned, & strangled, in an overgrown ravine off Ponderosa Way, near Weimar, near an old mine shaft
A similar strip of toweling was found hanging loosely around her neck. "Her nose had been reduced to a pulp, her jaw had been broken in several places, some teeth had been knocked out, and she had been strangled by her own stocking causing a fractured hyoid bone. She had also been sexually attacked (possibly raped), with the perpetrator/s placing her underwear in the grave beneath her body, which was still dressed in her nurse's uniform, partially wrapped in a canvas bag"

The owner of the land where her body was found had spotted 3 men digging at that location; they said they were digging for antique glass bottles. They had parked their sedan in the area w/ the trunk open. All three were well-dressed, wearing shirts and slacks. "One of the young men [was] in his late twenties, 6'0" tall, slender to medium build, with dark brown hair, brown eyes and an olive complexion"; the other two were described as "aged in their late 20s"

From early on, the murders of Lynch, Hakari, Bennallack, & Hilburn have been suspected to be tied to each other
