Description:

29yo; A taxi driver, he picked up a customer, then drove them to the corner of Washington & Cherry St.s in Presidio Heights, San Francisco.

He was then shot once in the back of the head by whoever he drove. The killer took Stine's wallet and car keys, as well as ripped off a piece of his shirt. Children who heard the gunshot and saw a man rummaging around in the taxi called the police to report a fight/murder. The killer later mailed a piece of the shirt, along with a letter, to area newspapers.

He is considered a confirmed victim of the Zodiac. Between 1947 and 2016, twenty-seven (27) San Francisco taxi cab drivers were killed. Ten of them were from 1960-1979, including Paul Stine.




This is the third confirmed attack perpetrated by the serial killer known as the Zodiac.
