Bear in mind that I had said that I would not conduct the Lord's Table until this situation was sorted out prior to the meeting with Steve and Val. This was John T's opportunity to say what his position was with regards to my ultimatum. He needed to say that he was supporting me in my position or that he was not.

John read his notes which made it clear that he felt that the problem in his view was with me not Steve and Val. I gave the elders my resignation letter.
