Description:

Lhyfe and Deutsche Bahn (DB), the German railway company, have announced a partnership to develop and test a rail mobility solution using green hydrogen.

Under the terms of the agreement, Lhyfe will build and operate a green hydrogen production facility within the innovation center of DB Energie, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn. Located in Tübingen and equipped with a 1 MW electrolyzer, the site will have an annual production capacity of up to 30 tonnes. It will be supplied with green electricity from Deutsche Bahn's energy portfolio.
