As more reports come to light that actor Johnny Depp may in fact have been the victim of domestic abuse during his marriage with actress Amber Heard – as opposed to the other way around, as was originally alleged – shocking audio released on Friday features the actress admitting to hitting her ex-husband.

In an expletive-laden tape released by Daily Mail, Heard and Depp argue over her treatment of him as they try to work through their marriage troubles. At one point, Heard admits to “hitting” him and “pelting him with pots, pans, and vases.”

“I’m sorry that I didn’t, uh, uh, hit you across the face in a proper slap, but I was hitting you, it was not punching you. Babe, you’re not punched,” Heard tells Depp in the audio. “I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was, but you’re fine. I did not hurt you. I did not punch you. I was hitting you.”

As Depp protests this treatment, arguing that her hits indeed amounted to a violent punch, Heard begins to taunt him. “You are such a baby. Grow the f**k up, Johnny,” she tells him. “You poke an animal enough, it is eventually, it doesn’t matter how friendly it is, it’s not cool.”

“I left last night. Honestly, I swear to you because I just couldn’t take the idea of more physicality, more physical abuse on each other,” Depp tells her. “Because had we continued it, it would have gotten f**king bad. And baby, I told you this once. I’m scared to death we are a f**king crime scene right now.”

Heard then issues this chilling warning to Depp: “I can’t promise you I won’t get physical again. God, I f**king sometimes get so mad I lose it.”

The Daily Mail reported that the tape came from a “well-placed source” and was the result of an informal “two-hour therapy” session recorded consensually on Heard’s cell phone. Several more tapes are reported to exist, each containing several explosive confessions from Heard.

As reported by The Daily Wire’s Ashe Schow in March of last year, Johnny Depp filed a $50 million defamation suit against Heard after she publicly accused him of domestic abuse during their divorce in a Washington Post op-ed. Several witnesses, audiotapes, and photographs allegedly prove that he was in fact the victim of domestic abuse.
