Malcolm and Audrey seemed to be indicating that there was nothing hostile whatsoever in their actions and words and that they were only responding to Steve and Val's questions. This made me frustrated as I seemed to be following a trail round in circles with the responsibility for the situation being no-ones. Ultimately Val told me that the conversation began by her asking Audrey how she had got on with Will's preaching.
