Lily meets with Albus, and they discuss her ideas for the new class. She insists she wants to focus on both practical offensive and defensive magic, the type a person would need for battling another person. She wants to push the challenge line to make up for Lockhart's incompetence. She'd also like to be in charge of tuning the student's reflexes and endurance by training their bodies. Albuseventually agrees to allow her to run her classroom as she saw fit,provided she was able to get her students to cooperate. He also gets her to agree to working under an alias, to prevent the knowledge of her true identity from seeping too much further. She agrees, and chooses Nucifera Nel Asphodel.
