Lily owls Albus, requesting him to add a new class for the year as an experiment: Offensive and Defensive Arts. She pleads her case quite nicely, bringing up that when the previous war took off, the Order wasted time training its members to fight. If the school began to prepare for the inevitable now, it would raise their chances of success. And even if the war doesn't start again, such battle magics would be useful to the students regardless. She then pleads to be able to teach the class.
