Description:

Due to the late hour at which Cassi was born, Harry didn't get to know if things were okay until the next morning. He finds Snape beside his sleeping mother, holding the new baby, seeming to rest. He creeps into the room, checking on his mum. Snape startles him as he informs Harry that she is okay, simply sore and tired. Harry nods, feeling awkward,then looks to the bundle in Snape's arms, questioning if it was the baby. Severus snorts, confirming.Harry remarks that Snape looked awful and he didn't even do anything. Severus glares, remarking that he wished Harry has children of his own someday so he could make him eat those words.Harry shifts awkwardly,eyeing the baby. Snape suddenly questions if Harry would be willing to do him a favor, then asks if he could hold Cassi for a few minutes while he fixed his hand. Harry asks what was wrong with his hand, and Severus just holds up his bandaged hand, stating Lily had broken it. Harry nods, though it's clear he's very uncomfortable as Severus hands over the bundle. Harry studies the tiny face, remarking that he hadn't expected it to be like this. Severus immediately starts to take offense, but Harry backpedals, insisting he was going to say 'cute'. Snape rolls his eyes.
