So the British noticed that china wasn;t buying anything from them so they were only losing silver. They were like hmmm how do we solve this? Then they made their colonies in India produce opium for export to china.

Qing rulers angry bc opium was horrible for their economy + the health of the people so they burned the British Opium. British were mad so war occurred, and ofc British won bc they industrialized.
