Description:

Zionist forces attacked al-Qastal, a Palestinian village dominating the Jaffa-Jerusalem highway. Palestinian combatants, led by Abd al-Qadir al-Husseini who was killed during the fighting, carried a counterattack on 8 April. But the Haganah regained al-Qastal the following day.
