Description:

Mosaddegh was prime minister of Iran from 1951-1953 and wanted to nationalize the oil production. The CIA and MI6
organized and financed a coup overthrowing him and replacing him with Mohammad Reza Shah. The Shah quickly returned to power and signed over forty percent of Iran’s oil fields to US companies. This eventually led to the White Revolution.
