dec 8, 1966 - 1st human cloned successfully
Description:
Jamie Browne becomes the first human ever successfully cloned during US funded illegal experimentation in St. Kitts & Nevis. Shortly after, the UK government discovers the program and shuts it down, however it is never conclusively tied to the US (though, local rumour accuses CIA, building distrust amongst the local population).
When it became clear that the wolves were closing in, scientists attempted to destroy what research had not already been sent off to the US, preventing the immoral nature of the human experimentation undergone on the island's minorities from reaching the media.
While the primary purpose was successful, the research was not destroyed, as one of the more driven scientists (operation paperclip recipient, Herman Aller) had been gradually copying all the data and, when the operation was shut down, had managed to escape with not only the data, but several advanced pieces of cloning equipment and the original Jamie Browne (henceforth referred to as JB0).
After this escape Aller spent several years rebuilding the project with great success creating clones JB6-11 (who died before adulthood). During this time JB0 entered politics with grand ideals cultivated by Aller.
