Description:

- From the site of Tikal, Guatemala
- 3.5 x 1.28 m
- The sculpture was recovered by archeologists in an architectural complex, to the west of the city center
- It is a royal portrait Stela of a ruler of Tikal, Jasaw Chan K'awiil
- The King is located in the center of the stone, wearing rich clothing and jewelry that represent wealth and power
The body is frontal, but the head is turned to the right, which was a standard way of depicting the Classic Maya rulers
- The King supposedly would be somewhere between 39 and 59 years old when this was made
