mar 30, 1879 - Zoopraxiscope
Description:
The Zoopraxiscope features images on a transparent disc which is then projected on to a wall or screen. It was designed by Eadweard Muybridge in order to prove the authenticity of his galloping horse pictures. These pictures were taken to prove if horses kept at least one leg on the floor when they galloped, or if there was a moment when all of their legs were off of the floor as they moved.
