apr 29, 1868 - The Second Fort Laramie Treaty
Description:
As a result of Red Cloud's success, the government agreed to close the Bozeman Trail, but another route had already been found.
Red Cloud was passive and agreed to take his people to a reservation in Dakota Territory, to be renamed the Great Sioux Reservation. Caused disagreements among the Sioux, with Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse refusing to sign the treaty (stood up for what they didn't agree with).
