jan 1, 2002 - No Child Left Behind Passed
Description:
The No Child Left Behind Act created standards that should be met for every grade level. It was up to the state to decide what those standards were, but they were required to have them. It made report cards and annual standardized tests more important. This is a program that still is relevant today, and you see examples of that in tests such as the EOG or EOCs.
