Films induced ideals of visual beauty.
Records allowed for music to be enjoyed as an individual past-time.
Since most films were still silent films (concurrent sound recording did not arrive with filming yet), narrators came into existence. They influenced the aspirations and convictions of the audience with their narrations of films.
