At this point almost all the elements had been found although they had not been organized. Dmitri Mendeleev was a Russian chemist and he was the one who designed the periotic table. Others had tried before but this was the first table that was consistent, there were also some empty spots on the table that Dmitri was able to predict what they would be like by following the patterns in the table.
