John Dalton was a English meteorologist who proposed a revised atomic model. His model had 5 points. The first was that all mater was made of atoms, the second is that all atoms of an element are identical in mass and properties, the third is that atoms of different elements have different masses and sizes, the fourth is that compounds are arrangements of different atoms, the fifth and finalpoint is that a chemical reaction was a rearangement of atoms.
