The Oasis Mining project on the Counterparty protocol was a spin off an earlier project known as Memory Chain.

It featured many artists from Memory Chain as well as significant Japanese cryptocurrency culture at the time.

It is also noted on the Rare Japanese NFT's website that the project 'gave even more freedom of expression to artists'.

The first card in the collection , MCDUMPING, was created by 水瀬亞里亞 (Maria Minase) and depicts a time period in 2017 when the price of Bitcoin decreased very rapidly.
