Description:
After the Revolutionary war broke out, the delegates from the 13 colonies met on may 5 1775 to discus how they would deal with the war that they were fighting. The 13 delegates appointed George Washington as Commander of the Continental Army. Later in the following year they drafted the Declaration of Independence as well as establishing themsleves as the central governing authority with the Articles of Confederation which lasted until 1788.
