apr 19, 1775 - Battle of Lexington & Concord
Description:
Known as the first battle of the Revolutionary War. 700 British soldiers marching to Lexington to confiscate hidden weapons. They were met with 77 colonial untrained soldiers (who were farmers) ready to fight. 8 colonists fall and die with 10 wounded. The British colonists then kept going towards Concord, and the colonists found them and on a bridge just outside of town. A battle erupts and long story short, the colonists won.
