Description:
An Old Testament prophet who upon being told by the Lord to deliver a message to Ninevah, instead rebelled. While trying to escape on a boat, a storm commenced, whereupon he threw himself into the sea. Being swallowed by a large fish, he repented and was spit out on the shore. He fulfilled his mission and the city, which was evil int eh Lord's sight, repented and was spared.
