jan 1, 1785 - Trouble with Foreign Countries
Description:
Not only did the native population recognize their weaknesses, but it was very noticeable to other nations. Because of the lack of central authority, many foreign countries doubt and question the nation’s financial stability (since the United States could not pay its debt) and make relationships with these nations harder and more complicated. Another issue they faced was national defense, the reason why Britain refused to withdraw their troops after the Treaty of Paris.
