Description:

Quebec was one of the two cities of New France that would lead to the nation’s fall in North America. On September 13, 1759, British troops, led by James Wolfe up the cliffs near the city. The battle resulted in a British victory and the death of Wolfe. This was the final step in Britain getting control over the St. Lawrence River.
