Description:

Encyclopédie, written by Denis Diderot (however there were other contributors) was a turning point socially as it provided lower classes with an education opportunity. The Encyclopédie was a book that gathered known information and used reason to analyze said info. The goal was to use this for social advancement. The reasonable price and plentiful books made it intentionally easily accesable.
