After crossing the Delaware on Christmas, George Washington embarked on a ten-day war campaign. This battle was a mistake, neither side had planned it out. The British commander, Charles Mawhood, was moving his unit towards Trenton to combine with the main British army. Just in the distance, he spotted an American unit. Then they both conversed on each other. After lots of gunfire, Washington had left victorious
