The parliamentary revolt- caused by by a vote of the National Convention to execute Maximilien Robespierre, Louis Antoine de Saint-Just, and several other leading members of the revolutionary government -resulted in the fall of Maximilien Robespierre and the collapse of revolutionary fervor and the Reign of Terror in France.
Law of 22 parial: a law that would free the Revolutionary Tribunals from control by the Convention and would greatly strengthen the position of prosecutors by limiting the ability of suspects to defend themselves.
