Description:
The son of David whose request for wisdom pleased the Lord. He used his tremendous wealth to erect a magnificent temple for the Lord, which became the sacred resting place of the Ark of the Covenant. He authored the Book of Eccleasiastes, the Song of Solomon, and most of the Book of Proverbs. Due to his later indulgences against God, his faithfulness faltered, bringing about God's wrath.
