Description:

7,000 women + 15,000 nat’l guard marched to Versailles
Results: Louis agreed to sanction Declaration of the Rights of Man and renounce feudalism
Causes: Louis XVI hadn’t ratified the declaration of the Rights of Man or the renunciation of feudalism, so people feared he’d use troops to try and stop the revolution. Also there was a severe bread shortage.
