Description:

In the 4th century BC had the art of theater developed further. The plays were then performed in a special outdoor theater with close to 20,000 seats. From Athens, the idea of playing theater spread around the entire Mediterranean. The Romans took over this idea and also built theaters in the cities of the Roman Empire.
