As we discussed in London, you have a really powerful story to tell about what happened to you as a result of speaking out. This is an important story which is not about him; it's about societal and industry responses. And that is a story that is empowering for so many women: I can tell you that I get contacted by women a lot wanting to speak out about the abuse they have suffered, but they face so many obstacles: wanting to be known for what they do and not what was done to them;
the legal costs of defending themselves against legal action; the publicity; what it means for their careers, et cetera. It is also why it is so important that we ensure that you are protected and survive this, as an example of what’s possible, even in such a powerful industry. That's why the Weinstein story was so big globally - for what it said to women everywhere.
