Description:
The Freestar Collective began colonizing the planet Vesta in the Lunara system in 2307. This was opposed by the United Colonies, who in 2308 lodged a formal objection to the Vesta colony on the grounds that the Collective's expansion into a fourth star system was a violation of the Treaty of Narion. When diplomatic talks between the UC and Freestar broke down, the UC placed the Vesta colony under siege, resulting in the deaths of all of the colony's Freestar defenders.
