jun 24, 2015 - SATOSHICARD
Description:
Through a collaboration between Spells of Genesis and SaruTobi, the SATOSHICARD is recognized as the oldest tokenized metaverse asset on the Counterparty Protocol.
SATOSHICARD was integrated into both of the two blockchain games by two different developers, providing different utility in each. The first game with use for SATOSHICARD was not Spells of Genesis initially, but the Sarutobi game by Christian Moss.
A great article by IndieSquare Wallet is linked to get a good overview of how owning this Spells of Genesis asset gave players extra features in Sarutobi.
On May 18, 2016, Christian implemented this blockchain functionality by making the Spells of Genesis assets CNPCARD, SARUTOBICARD and SHUMAICARD playable in Sarutobi. These three assets would eventually mark the first instance of Counterparty tokenized assets becoming included in a mobile game, though SATOSHICARD (the oldest of all the tokens included) and CNPCARD ownership also offered incentives in the game.
It should be noted here that the functionality of the Spells of Genesis cards (and CNPCARD) was added to Sarutobi before the official Spells of Genesis game was released on April 20th, 2017. To which it should not be understated that the SATOSHICARD would play a rare and integral part in the Spells of Genesis game as well.
