aug 12, 2014 - BKEYCHAINUSA

Description:

A man by the name of Rob Mitchell, who hosted The Bitcoin Game podcast in affiliation with LetsTalkBitcoin, minted BKEYCHAINUSA with the intention to sell a physical Bitcoin keychain within the USA.

The description on the token reads: 'Bkeychain.com Keychain mailed to USA'. These tokens could be exchanged for the keychain which Rob was producing and selling through Amazon, and his website.

Adam Mcbride wrote in this medium article, '[Rob] was also very interested in what use cases tokens could have in solving real-world problems'.

At the time, Rob had a company called Paperclip Robot that sold Bitcoin keychains, but BKEYCHAIN and BKEYCHAINUSA were special in the case that they were sold on a LetsTalkBitcoin auction and represented a separate way to distribute these keychains.

This was one of the first use cases for a physical object connected to a Counterparty token. The difference between BKEYCHAIN and BKEYCHAINUSA is simply the fact that one token was for international shipping and the other was for shipping within the USA.

There were also tokens by Rob with the same names and same function minted to Dogeparty in September of 2014.
