Counterparty Co-Founder user-named: 'PhantomPhreak' posts the first Official Thread on the Bitcointalk Forums for creating Counterparty.

In doing so, the post officially started the publishing of the project and offered a Counterparty specific wallet called "Counterwallet" as a space to experiment with OP_RETURN data within Bitcoin transactions.

The Primary Developers of Counterparty during its origin were: Adam Krellenstein, Robby Dermody, and Ouziel Slama.
