Portugal slave trade started when Prince Portugal Center trade expedition to Africa to 35 and enslaved Africans. They have been brought to Lagos and Portugal. The Portuguese were using enslaved Africans on sugar plantations. They're using them for hard and dangerous labor. This brought money and economic structure to portugal. A lot of the sugar used here was sold in Europe and in the New World. Because of the slaves they were able to mass produce Sugar and say high and fast rate.
