Born "Temüjin" sometime around 1162 he was a descendant of a revered warlord and by some accounts was prophesied too to be a great warrior from birth. After murdering his bullying older brother, he would go on to have various escapades, being imprisoned by enemies on likely more than one occasion. His family were not especially powerful or had many allies so he was reliant on his own wits and charisma for much of his youth.

Despite many setbacks, he would eventually grow to be the most powerful of all mongols and would successfully invade place after place, conquering and subduing thousands. This would eventually become one of the largest empires in history and would have a major impact on central asia, the middle east and East Asia. He would in time be named "Genghis Khan" commonly translated as "Universal Ruler".
