Description:

Many of the more extreme revolutionists wanted to abolish the monarchy entirely after their failed attempt at escaping. There were documents drafted and they petitioned for the abdication of the king and the creation of a republican state. They ended up not gathering to sign the document but instead sending out the National Guard. When they went out there were many killed and even more wounded. It gave room for a rise in political radicalism.
