Description:

Women marched on October 5th in 1789 from Paris to Versailles in violent protest. They went to where Marie Antoinette was and demanded food. The women got by her guard and though she almost escaped she came out and was taken prisoner until her execution two years later. They also took Loui XVi, the King. These two became prisoners of the Third Estate until their executions.
