Description:
Cece Yew was set to testify against the Amano Group conglomerate with allegations of smuggling. While under the protection of Detective Tyrell Badd, Yew was murdered by Manny Coachen, who was sent as an operative of the International Smuggling Ring.
Coachen was identified as the primary suspect and went to trial. Byrne Faraday was the prosecutor and Calisto Yew was the defense, posing as the deceased Cece's sister while being a deep-undercover operative for the Smuggling Ring. A Not Guilty verdict was delivered, as the prosecution's key evidence went missing during the trial.
The Amano Group claimed that Colin Devorae was in fact the culprit behind the incident, and the case was hastily closed. The Yatagarasu was formed as a result of the suspicious air surrounding the Amano Group with Faraday, Badd, and Yew as members. They focused on exposing scandals hidden by corporations and used their occupations to evade capture. The team managed to steal an important key from Manny Coachen which became known as the Yatagarasu Key years later.
