Description:

An assassination plot was devised against Zheng Fa President Di-Jun Wang by his body double with the intention of becoming president himself. The body double enlisted Chief Prosecutor Excelcius Winner as a co-conspirator, and Winner bribed Fifi Laguarde for her cooperation as her orphanage was the perfect location to strike at. They hired the notorious "Blind Assassin" Bodhidharma Kanis to assassinate Wang and planned to kill him afterwards by overpowering him.

During President Wang's first term, Fenn and Wang began to have a relationship while she worked as an American Diplomat in Zheng Fa. Fenn became pregnant at some point and moved back to America shortly after to avoid a scandal, where she worked at the Happy Family Home until her untimely passing. Fenn had asked Wang to see her after the birth of their son Shaun Fenn, and Wang agreed to as discreetly as possible. Wang did not notify anyone about the plot except for his Body Double, who took his place while the meeting was supposed to take place.

The body double stood in for Wang at an event while the real president went to the Happy Family Home, where Kanis was waiting for him. Despite pleading with the assassin to see his child before death, Kanis killed Wang before he had the chance. Carmelo Gusto's son overheard the trio's intentions for Kanis and, having recognized each other from IS-7, helped the assassin escape by causing a fire. Winner and Laguarde decided to focus on the situation at hand and focus on Kanis later. While disposing of Wang's body, journalist Alf Aldown witnessed the scene and called his girlfriend Rosie Ringer but was killed mid-voicemail by the body double, who happened to arrive at that moment. The trio then adapted to stage a kidnapping incident with one casualty, with all three assuming various roles to make it look real.

The plot was successful and the conspirators remained unsuspected of foul play. Laguarde, however, became extremely paranoid that Kanis would return for vengeance. She mercilessly interrogated the child who tipped Kanis off until he ran away from the orphanage. A heartbroken Amelie, who hadn't heard from Wang at all, assumed that her request was ignored and raised Shaun on her own.
