Description:

Prussia declared war on France as it wished to take over Alsaz-Lorraine. All French troops were withdrew from Rome, leaving what was left of the papal states undefended. Napoleon III is defeated at the battle of Sedan. Italy takes this opportunity to finally invade Rome and the remainance of the papal staes. On september 20, Porta Pia is breached and Latium is annexed by Italy
