Description:
An increase in the cost of food resulted in unrest throughout the population. Moderate reforms were passed in the papal states, Tuscany and in the Kingdom of Piedmont. In other states such as the kingdom of the two Sicilies all revolutionary attempts are violently suppressed.Added to timeline:
