a. The invention was the wine press.
b. it accomplished something that could easily press grapes into something that they could drink in the days without drinkable water.

a. A world where people got cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid and polio if they drank a little water.
b. A world where people died from suffocation by making wine. Grapes release tiny amounts of carbon dioxide when crushed, so they fainted from the lack of oxygen, bringing them closer to the carbon dioxide, which killed them.
3. What motivated the inventor?
a. Noticing that wine was extremely important, but hard to transport and make.
b. Wanting to make wine easier to make, more sanitary, and less dangerous.
4. How the invention was marketed.
a. "Hey, you. Did you know that your wine is the product of slaves stomping barefoot on grapes in the harsh sun? Think about how unsanitary that is."
b. "I have invented a clever machine that can crush wine easier, faster, and cheaper. Join me."
5. How the invention changed the world.
a. Created more sanitary, cheap, easier to make wine that caused less casualties.
b. Helped the Christians create wine within the limits that they used.
