may 7, 2014 - The first gay marriages are held in England and Wales
Description:
At first gay couples weren’t allowed the right of full marriage which was seen as discrimination, but England and Wales finally allowed legal full gay marriage. Some christian groups and gay rights activists got into heavy disagreements about this but by early 2015 over 20 countries were allowing gay marriages. This was an important milestone in showing the world’s acceptance and diversity.
