Description:

The use of pot was already legal in Uruguay but the production and sale wasn’t. Now the whole process was legal and this plan included a system of user registry, a tax, and quality control. A hope of this law was to reduce the influence of drug cartels. This was a controversial move because this drug would create business and reduce drug cartels, but was releasing yet another possibly dangerous pharmaceutical into the country.
