Some colonists started jeering at a single guard, who was guarding the Boston customs house, the solder called for help, more soldiers arrived and colonists showed up, throwing stones, snow, ice at the soldiers. A gun shot (Misfire or not, it is unsure) Then the soldiers fired into the crowd. 11 people were killed.Added to timeline:
