【全国抗战爆发后】左权在华北前线开展敌后游击战争。
【1942.5】日军对太行山区抗日根据地进行大“扫荡"”。左权在山西辽县麻田附近指挥部队掩护八路军总部等机关突围转移时，壮烈牺牲。
